Our Department
This Department was created in 2003 with the hiring of a Director to manage, promote, market and maintain Montgomery's riverfront properties as well as offering support to other City Departments on an as needed basis. This staff was supplemented in 2004 with the closing of the Civic Center bringing the total number of 9 full-time and several part-time employees.
Our Mission
To maintain, manage, market and promote Montgomery's beautiful riverfront properties, including Riverwalk Stadium, Riverwalk Amphitheater/Splash Pad, Union Station/Train Shed, Montgomery Skate Park, Court Square Round-A-Bout as well as other Municipal Interests while creating a renewed interest and excitement in Montgomery's Downtown District through cultural, spiritual, ethnic, sporting, musical & other entertainment opportunities.
